PURPOSE OF THE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION:
This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not necessarily result in any procurement action. A contract will not result from this activity.
The CRA is seeking feedback from the vendor community on the availability of desktop video magnifiers for use by the Canada Revenue Agency’s Adaptive Technology Program to accommodate its low vision clients across Canada. Vendors are requested to provide specific responses to the product questions outlined herein.
The key objectives of the RFI include:
1. Receive responses from the vendor community about available products that would meet the CRA’s requirements, and
2. Provide industry with an early opportunity to assess and comment on the CRAs’ requirements for desktop video magnifiers, in order to maximize the best value to the Canada Revenue Agency if an RFP is posted.
Respondents are requested to submit responses by 2:00pm EDT on June 6, 2013.
Electronic submissions are preferred.
