Requirement
A) The work to be carried out under this contract includes the
supply of material and fabrication of a 10 ton, 24 m long and
4.6 m wide vehicle ramp complete with aprons, galvanized bridge
deck grating and ramp support shoes.
B) The ramp will be installed by others at the delivery
location.
Work Period
Commence work January 7, 2012
Complete work and deliver no later than March 15, 2012
Destination
The fabrication shall be performed by the Contractor at their
Facility. The ramp will be delivered by the contractor to the
2750 Harbour Rd, Port Alberni BC, V8Y 7X2.
Sourcing Strategy
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Western Canada, in accordance with the
Shipbuilding Procurement Policy (19/12/96) subject to the
Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt
from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and
from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4)
