Nature of Requirements:
The closing date of the Request for Proposal is changed from
September 18, 2013, to October 2, 2013 2 p.m., Eastern
Daylight Time (EDT).

Requirement: The National Research Council Canada (NRC)
Aluminium Technology Centre (ATC), Saguenay site, seeks to
acquire (2) two recent control systems for two (2) pieces of
existing equipment: a 1000-ton hydroforming press and a 75-ton
servo press, manufactured by
Interlaken Technology Corporation (ITC). The two (2) control
systems shall replace those
currently operating the presses, make them more efficient and
safe, and provide them with
greater operating procedure programming flexibility.

The scope of the work includes the provision of the control
systems (including hardware
and software), the technical documentation (including drawings
and technical data sheets),
delivery to the NRC-Saguenay site, installation and training.

Mandatory Site Visit: It is mandatory that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements
have been made for site visit to be held on Wednesday, September
4th, 2013, at 1 p.m. at :

Financial Security: A contract financial security of $10,000 is
required.
