Full description

.1 The scope of work is limited to mechanical upgrades on the 6th and 12th floors within the highly sensitive Deputy Minister Suites. All work must occur after hours and on weekends, as noted herein. Occupants of the suites will be temporarily relocated; however, the remainder of each floor, including the Deputy Minister Boardroom, will remain occupied throughout construction. The Work will also have an impact on the floors below (5th and 11th), and occupants on those floors will likewise be relocated.

.2 The Contractor is responsible for the relocation and protection of existing furniture, coordinated through an identified vendor, Solutions Business Interiors as an existing warranty period exists. Hazardous materials are present within the renovation areas and will require abatement and air monitoring. Additional work outside the Deputy Minister Suites is required on each floor and is limited to the elevator lobbies. Existing millwork panels will be removed and replaced with new panels, including new signage. A preferred controls vendor, OVR Tech Controls, has been identified.
