Description:
.1 Work of this contract comprises the installation of steam, water and electric meters in various buildings, located in Regina, Saskatchewan. This work includes, labour, materials and shipping of materials, in accordance with the contract documents and as further described within the Specification and Drawings.
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation of bids is subject to the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement. This means that only Canadian Contractors are eligible for this solicitation of bids. Bids submitted by Non-Canadian Contractors will be rejected.
Basis of selection: Bidders that demonstrate they meet the mandatory requirements in the Request for Qualifications will be sent the ITT/specs/drawings. The construction contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced compliant bid.
