Tendering Procedure: Selective - This procurement has been set aside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). Only Indigenous Suppliers that have been invited, qualify to submit a bid.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Description: The National Research Council of Canada’s – Automotive and Surface Transportation (NRC-AST) requires a Universal Testing Machine (UTM) capable of determining the mechanical properties of polymer films/sheets, composites, and molded products according to the ASTM and ISO standards. The equipment must be able to measure and detect tensile and flexural properties. The work consists of supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the system and all accessories at the NRC address and training on equipment use; all of the work must be completed by end of February 2027.
Basis of selection: The responsive bidder who meets all Mandatory Technical Criteria and offers the lowest aggregate price will be recommended for contract award.
The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) will award one contract to the lowest-priced compliant Indigenous bidder.
