The CFS Navigator Pilot is intended to strengthen coordination between schools, families, community organizations and provincial ministries by improving pathways to supports and services for children and families experiencing increasingly complex needs. The initiative will establish governance structures, implementation approaches and service coordination mechanisms to support the pilot’s implementation.
The implementation schedule is compressed to support establishment of the CFS Navigator Pilot for Fall 2026, requiring immediate availability and the ability to contribute with minimal onboarding; The work requires extensive knowledge of Alberta’s child- and youth-serving systems and demonstrated working relationships between participating ministries and agencies; The services require significant expertise providing strategic advisory services for complex, multi-stakeholder government initiatives and cross ministry collaboration;
