The University manages a significant portfolio of endowments (charitable purpose trusts and endowments), which are stewarded primarily by the Office of Vice-President (External Relations) and distributed across various academic Faculties and University-wide service units. Over time, certain endowments have accumulated multiple years of unspent allocations due to restrictive operating terms, shifting academic programming, or evolving institutional needs.
The University is seeking an external contractor with specialized financial and legal expertise in trust law and endowment management to conduct a comprehensive, risk-aware review of these underutilized endowments.
