Tender description
The Department of National Defence requires three Geomatics Analysts – Level 2 to support the Mapping and Charting Establishment’s (MCE) Engineering Section. Under the direction of MCE Engineering staff, the Geomatics Analysts will contribute to the development and sustainment of geomatics engineering capabilities, IT infrastructure, and production workflows. The work to be conducted includes the creation, assessment, and manipulation of aeronautical and geospatial data; the development and evaluation of new datasets, applications, and production methods; the generation of digital aeronautical charts and specialized products that meet RCAF Operational Airworthiness (OA) requirements; and the provision of geomatics support to various Royal Canadian Air Force Project Management Offices (PMOs). This work will directly support capability development for programs such as CMLU and MHP.
