The successful Proponent shall be responsible for the complete design, supply, delivery, site preparation, and construction of the Equipment Building, including all associated components, systems, and services, in accordance with the Scope of Work.
The facility will provide a dedicated space for the maintenance, storage, and protection of critical equipment, including rock trucks, loaders, bulldozers, and compactors, supporting operational efficiency, safety, and asset longevity.
The scope includes the development of design criteria, completion of geotechnical investigations, preparation of detailed engineering drawings, and technical specifications, followed by full construction of the facility. The building shall be designed as a framed wood structure on an engineered foundation, with a minimum service life of 50 years.
Construction will include all necessary site preparation, foundations, structural framing, building envelope, and interior fit-out suitable for equipment maintenance and storage.
The work will also include all associated geotechnical for best practical location of building, mechanical, electrical, drainage, and safety systems required to support landfill operations.
All work shall be carried out in accordance with applicable municipal, provincial, and national codes and standards.
