The Government of Alberta has awarded a sole-source contract to M&P Mercury Sales Ltd. for the supply of five (5) Boston Whaler Guardian patrol vessels, consisting of four Guardian 170 units and one Guardian 210 unit, to support provincial operational requirements. The procurement was conducted following a market assessment and a Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP PS-2026-02667), which confirmed that M&P Mercury Sales Ltd. is the only supplier capable of meeting the Province's operational, technical, delivery, and interoperability requirements. The award supports fleet standardization, operational continuity, and lifecycle maintenance efficiencies. The contract value is USD $580,427.00 (approximately CAD $790,831.79).
