Description of Work:
Employment and Skills Development Canada has the following
requirements:
· One A.1 Application/Software Architect (Level 3) - Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA).
The resource will lead the development of key interoperability
activities and deliverables and manage the different SOA
architectural aspects of complex business transformation
projects. The objective is to ensure ESDC, through proper
application of SOA enterprise architecture capabilities,
effectively builds and implements solutions for continuous
improvement.
· One A.1 Application/Software Architect (Level 3) - Testing
Specialist.
The resource will lead the planning of key interoperability
testing activities, produce and maintain testing strategies,
frameworks and plans to ensure testing is accurate in relation
to the delivery of DSB releases, faults fixes, and developments,
into various environments. The objective is to ensure ESDC,
through proper application of Service Oriented Architecture
(SOA) testing capabilities, correctly and effectively manages
the testing solution and implements required testing
interoperability processes for continuous improvement.
· One I.11 Technology Architect (Level 3) - Platform Architect.
The resource will be responsible for platform architecture
activities, including the definition of said architecture in
order to support the existing and implementation projects.
The resource(s) are to assist ESDC in the design, development,
configuration, implementation and maintenance of software
components relating to their enterprise SOA solution. The
resource will work closely with Interoperability Team's
architecture specialists in the Portal, Web Services and COTS
platform domains to implement the developed integration
approaches
- Bidders may submit a bid for one or all resource categories.
- The work is currently being performed by CompuAids Inc. Under
2 contracts (value $844,500 - combined for the 2 contracts/ 3
resources)
