Tender description
PHAC requires services for Actuarial Services to review the financial framework for the Vaccine Injury Assistance Program (VIAP).
The VIAP provides financial support to individuals who experience serious and permanent injury following the administration of a Health Canada–approved vaccine. A review of the current financial framework and payment structure is required to ensure sustainability, fairness, and alignment with actuarial best practices.
The Contractor will review the proposed framework, assess the reasonableness and equity of the payment structure, and provide recommendations for improvements to support long-term program sustainability.
