DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
Survey operations will be directed by DFO staff on board the Survey Vessel. All survey operations will begin and end in Nanaimo, B.C., Sidney, B.C. or Steveston B.C. at the discretion of DFO.
A fixed budget is available for sentinel projects and the exact number of vessels and fishing units will depend on the value of the successful bid.
The Contractor is required to provide Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) a trawling vessel (hereafter referred to as the “Survey Vessel”) and its accompanying crew to conduct Eulachon research survey(s) in coastal waters off the west coast of British Columbia

DURATION OF CONTRACT
The contract period is from Contract award to March 31, 2018.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than seven (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGY
Highest combined rating of technical merit (65%) and price (35%).
