Request for Proposal to provide food and food services to HMCS
Quadra Cadet Camp, CFB Comox, Goose Spit, BC from 22 June 2012
to 27 August 2012 and an option to extend the resulting contract
for 2 additional one-year period: Option period 1: from 21 June
2013 to 26 August 2013 and Option period 2: from 20 June 2014
to 25 August 2014.
It is anticipated that a total of 32,842 ration days** will be
utilized during the first year.
** ration days - A total of food for three meals plus morning
and afternoon breaks and evening snack provided to one
authorized person for one day. In the context of catering
contracts, the term ration also encompasses all the activities
associated with the provision of these meals.
Mandatory SITE VISIT: It is mandatory that the bidder or a
representative of the bidder visit the site and examine the
scope of the work required and the existing conditions.
Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on Tuesday
April 17, 2012 at 10:30, 13:00 and 14:30. Appointment will be
given first come, first serve basis and it is bidder's
responsibility to ensure that the request is received early
enough to secure a time slot. Bidders who do not attend or send
a representative will not be given an alternative appointment
and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant. NO
EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
