Request for Proposal to provide Food and Food Services for
150-200 people at the Department of National Defence Whitehorse
Cadet Summer Training Centre (WCSTC) preliminary staffing, as
well as the Cadet's Training Operation, 45 Fireweed Drive, YT,
Y1A 5T8. Kitchen opening and closing dates in 2012: Mess
Opening - 19 Jun 2012 Closing - 20 Aug 2012 after supper.

The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to 31 May
2013 inclusive.
The majority of the work will be performed during the period of
19 June 2012 to 20 August 2012.

The Contractor must grant to Canada the irrevocable option to
extend the term of the Contract by up to 2 additional 1-year
period(s) under the same conditions.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT:

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on 15 May 2012 at 8:30. Bidders must
communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 5 days
before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the
names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required
to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids
that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not
attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

OPTIONAL BIDDERS' CONFERENCE
A bidders' conference will be held on 15 May 2012 at 10:00. The
scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will
be reviewed during the conference and questions will be
answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a
bid attend or send a representative.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders
should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the
names of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of
issues they wish to table at least 5 working days before the
scheduled conference.

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to
the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be
precluded from submitting a bid.
