Project description:
Upgrade Fuel System for Diesel Generator at Confederation
Heights Central Heating and Cooling Plant at 501 Heron Road,
Ottawa, Ontario.
The purpose of this project is to proceed with required repairs
which were identified in the latest inspection in which the
system was red tagged and taken out of service.
Work is to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $100,000 and $250,000.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at the level of SECRET. Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on August 7th, 2014 at 10:00am.
Interested bidders shall meet at the Confederation Heights
Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 501 Heron Road, Ottawa,
Ontario.
Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch) and a Hard Hat. Contractor personnel/individuals who do
not have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the
site.
