Description:
Upgrade of septic sewage systems in Banff National Park: Work under this Contract includes septic system upgrades at East Gate. The general scope of work with all incidental work required for a complete job includes:
1. Location, removal and disposal of existing septic tank. Existing septic field and distribution
manhole to be abandoned in place.
2. Removal of existing power supply and associated electrical equipment.
3. Installation of new underground power supply and controls wiring.
4. Installation of pre-cast concrete septic tank and submersible effluent pump, complete with
float controls and alarms.
5. Connection of existing forcemain to new septic tank.
6. Installation of pressurized distribution septic field.
Integrity Provisions:
Important changes have been made to the Integrity Provisions - Bid as of July 3rd 2015. See GI01, Integrity Provision-Bid of R2710T of the General Instructions for more information.
Listing of Contractors:
As per GI07 of R2710T you should provide using Annex C at Bid closing a list of Subcontractors that have 20% or more of the tendered price value.
Optional Site Visit:
There will be a site visit on June 24, 2016 at 10:00 hours. Interested bidders are to meet at
the East Gateof BanffPark. It has no address per se, but it is directly to the right of the park entry gates, just as you pass by the gatehouse that is furthest to the right.
