If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing datestated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.
2. Definition of the requirement
The Natural Resources Canada has a requirement for (1) Microtrac Particle Size Analyzer Model S3500 including manuals. Being able to establish a correlation to past results is very important. They would like to preserve the comparability and conformity of the data/information that was generated by this older model X-100 instrument to the information they intend to gather with the newer model S3500. 6. The system has to have a capability of dry sample particle size analysis;
7. All parts likely to come in contact with wet samples have to be chemical resistant;
8. The particle size analyzer should include a dedicated computer loaded with Windows 7 Enterprise. The size analysis data file should be convertible to Microsoft Excel format;
9. The package should include reference materials covering the proposed particle size range measurements;
