The Certification & Engineering Bureau at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada requires a High Frequency Signal Analyzer to carry out regulatory compliance testing, standards development activities, and measurement studies.
A turnkey High Frequency Signal Analyzer is a "ready-for-use" standalone instrument that can measure and analyze wide bandwidth Radio Frequency (RF) signals at high frequencies. The instrument must be standalone and not comprised of a separate unit combined with external high frequency mixers or downconverters. The instrument must have a visual display and a user interface and must be able to provide both graphical and tabular data via a modern externally accessible storage format.
The specification requirement is for hardware and software that are capable of measuring and analyzing signals at high RF frequencies and wide RF bandwidths intended for use in 5G technologies.
The work must be completed by March 30, 2018.
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
