Radio Tower
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) requires the supply and
installation/erection of a 30 metre CSA 37.01 compliant, guyed
radio/equipment tower at Petawawa Research Forest (PRF)
Petawawa, ON.
The guyed radio/equipment tower will replace the existing 31
metre equipment tower for which the Contractor will be
responsible for decommissioning, dismantling and disposing of
materials in compliance with the Environmental Protection Act,
Ontario Regulation 102/94 and Ontario Regulation 103/94.
Delivery and installation is required by 15 December 2012.
Please refer to the Request for Proposal for the detailed
technical requirements.
There are multiple Certifications required by bid solicitation
closing for this requirement.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 18 October
2012 at 10:00AM, 1000 Cloutier Road Chalk River, Ontario.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than three (3) day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and provide the
name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as required will not be
allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an
attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

procurement.
