This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 01896-180776/A dated December 19, 2017 with a closing of January 30, 2018 at 02:00 PM CST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation
Agriculture and Agri Food Canada (AAFC), Cereal Quality Laboratory located in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Swift Current Research and Development Centre located in Swift Current, Saskatchewan test whole-meal durum samples for gluten strength using a Gluten Index machine. The Laboratories require a new gluten testing machine to test outlier durum samples in an efficient manner with a relatively small sample size.
Gluten screening is critical to Agriculture and Agri Food Canada's plant breeding programs in the early stages of varietal development.
