Slow Strain Rate Tester
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), CanmetMATERIALS, Hamilton, ON,
requires a slow strain rate test (SSRT) instrument comprising a
load frame, a high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) test
cell, and a system controller. In addition, the requirement also
includes the complete installation, commissioning, certification
and training of the SSRT. The SSRT instrument must be capable of
performing SSRT/ constant load / cyclic fatigue tests on
pipeline steel specimens to investigate environmentally assisted
cracking (EAC) under HTHP conditions.
All the deliverables must be received by 30 March 2016.
The requirement includes the option to purchase an optional
SSRT, Autoclave and optional maintenance calibration services.
As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2003, bidders must
provide a list of all owners and/or Directors and other
associated information as required. Refer to section
4.21 of the Supply Manual for additional information on the
Integrity Provisions.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
