The Case Processing Centre in Vegreville requires the
provision, delivery and installation of an x-ray scanner
comprised of a mail and parcel x-ray scanner, conveyor belt and
inspection chamber that accepts postal trays, parcels and
packages, including boxes.
The requirement is to obtain a conveyor x-ray scanner for the
inspection of incoming mail and parcels. The selected vendor
must provide all labor, materials and equipment to install,
calibrate and adjust the scanner and ensure that all radiation
shielding components and safety devices are installed and
functioning prior to use. All expenses related to the
installation of the scanner are to be included in the cost of
the scanner.
