Real Property Services of Public Service and Procurement Canada has a requirement to procure three (3) containerized steam-capable portable de-icing units and three (3) spill kits to be used for the de-icing of dams on the Rideau River, the Ottawa River and the French River. Canada expects that the de-icers will be commercial off-the-shelf steam-cleaning units with some configurations to suit the specific requirements of this Requirement. Delivered de-icers must be complete with all required parts and manuals and be fully ready to operate on the dams as soon as filled with fuel.
The units, one per site, are to be delivered to the Temiskaming Dam in Thome, Ontario, the French River Dam in Dokis, Ontario and the Rideau River Dam in Ottawa, Ontario.
