REQUEST FOR INFORMATION -
SOFTWARE APPLICATION FOR PRODUIT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), is issuing this Request For
Information (RFI-see electronic attachment), in order to obtain
from the industry, more technical information on Product
Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management (CM)
software applications, commercially available. The RFI includes
specific questions for the industry. This is an opportunity to
present your product to the configuration management team and
make comments or suggestions on the team's selection criteria.
The feedback received will be taken into consideration before
preparing the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The information provided by PWGSC in this RFI is preliminary and
may change. The final procurement approach may differ depending
on the comments on the RFI and other factors as the procurement
process develops. This RFI is not a bid solicitation nor will it
be used to pre-qualify or otherwise restrict participation in
any future procurement. A contract will not result from this
RFI. Responses will not be formally evaluated. This request for
comments or suggestions is not a bid solicitation. No contract
or subsequent procurement action will result from this activity.
During the term of this RFI, if required, an opportunity may be
presented for PWGSC and Industry to hold individual information
sessions in which possible bidders would be able to give a
demonstration of their software application.
