Nature of Requirements:
NRC- Survey Exterior Boundary Miawpukek
Work Required:
Perform an Official Survey (Chapter D1, General Instructions for
Surveys of Canada Lands, e-Edition) of a portion of the northern
exterior boundary at Samiajij Miawpukek Indian Reserve No. 1,
Conne River, District of Fortune Bay Cape LaHune, Province of
Newfoundland and Labrador. Prepare an Official Plan under the
Canada Lands Surveys Act (Section 29) and related survey
returns. The subject boundary is approximately 9.5 kilometres
in length.
Refer to Annex A of the solicitation for the background and the
specific requirements.
Mandatory Criteria:
1. The land surveyor must hold a valid licence to practice with
the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors. The land surveyor
must also hold a valid Certificate of Authorization with the
Association of Newfoundland Land Surveyors. The land surveyor
must have a valid account with MyCLSS. The land surveyor must
be in-charge of the entire project and visit the survey site at
least twice (at the beginning of the project and also at the
conclusion of the fieldwork).
2. The proponents company must hold a valid permit pursuant to
the Canada Lands Surveyors Regulations.
3. The proponent must provide a signed safety certification.
4. The proponent must provide a schedule of work milestones
indicating compliance with the proposed project deadline (e.g.
Gantt Chart).
5. The proponent must provide a technical proposal that clearly
demonstrates a complete understanding of the project
requirements including time frame and any aboriginal
involvement.
6. The proponent must include a breakdown of field costs, office
costs and other costs for all personnel, equipment and materials
required for the project.
Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, section
1, Standard Instructions 2003 (2012-07-11) Goods or Services -
Competitive Requirements, Bidders must submit the following as
part of their bid:
1. A complete list of names of all individuals who are
currently directors of the Bidder;
2. A properly completed and signed Consent Form, for each
individual named in the aforementioned list.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
