ARTIC CAMP COOKING SERVICE
Defense Research/Development Canada Atlantic (DRDC/A) has a
requirement for the services of a Senior Cook and Cooks' Helper
during the Northern Watch Technology Demonstration Project at
its' field camp loacted at Gascoyne Inlet, on the south west
corner of Devon Island, Nunavet.
At a minimum, the requirement is for a Senior Cook, with
experience preparing nutritious meals in a camp environment,
managing a camp kitchen, developing menus and providing food
order lists. In addition, one or more Cooks' Helpers will be
required to assist with kitchen duties (such as food
preparation, dish washing, handling garbage, etc.) and general
camp duties.
The duration of this requirement is expected to be from 20 July
to 31 August, 2012, with options to extend to three (3) more
field seasons; 2013, 2014, 2015.
