The Department of National Defence has an urgent requirement to
procure Home Made Explosive and Improvised Explosive (HME/IE)
training in direct support of deployed operations. The Canadian
Forces (CF) current Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training
is required in identifying, neutralizing and advising Command on
the HME/IE threat.
The Contractor shall provide Two (2) 5 day courses for up to
fifteen studetns, during the time frame of any resulting
contract. The Contractor shall provide the deliverables as
detailed on the next page, and further detailed in the RFP and
its associated documents.
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31,
2014 inclusive, with option which could extend the contract to
March 31, 2018.
Optional Requirement:
Optional period is divided in two Parts.
Part 1 An additional two (2) year period with two courses a
year and a surge of an additional two courses per year for this
period at the same rates, terms and conditions stated herein.
Part 2 Two (2) additional one (1) year periods, with two
courses a year and a surge of an additional two courses per year
for this period , terms and conditions remain as stated herein.
Rates will be reviewed at this time, should the Crown issue
these two one year options.
The Contracting Authority may exercise the option at any time
before the expiry of the Contract by sending a written notice to
the Contractor.
All other Terms, Conditions, SOW are available with the RFP.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
