Title: Sediment Remediation

Location: PWGSC Marine Facility, Turnour Island, BC

Work Description:
The principal works to be executed and for which all materials,
plant and labour are to be supplied by the Contractor as shown
on the plans and in the specifications:

1. Remove potentially contaminated sediment as delineated on
the drawings
2. Fill voids with approved backfill material
3. Dispose of potentially contaminated sediments

Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Delivery Date:
The work is to be completed eight (8) weeks after contract award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $300,000.00 and $400,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services
provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX
services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid
calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases,
bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the
identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have
taken into consideration for their bid submission.
