Nature of Requirements:
This solicitation amendment 001 is being issued to extend the
solicitation closing date to March 1st, 2013.
Passenger Bus Service
This is a Request for a Regional Individual Standing Offer
(RISO) for the provision of Highway Cruisers, Activity Buses and
School Buses with and without drivers on an "as and when
requested" basis for the Department of National Defence (DND),
Area Support Unit London.
The period of the resulting Standing Offer will be for 1 year
from April 1st, 2013 to March 31st, 2014, with a right to
request an extension of the Standing Offer by 2, 1-year
extension periods under the same terms and conditions.
Types of Buses:
Highway Cruisers: 47 and 56 passengers.
Activity Buses: 35 passengers
School Buses: 22, 40, and 48 passengers.
For the complete Statement of Work, see Annex A, attached to the
Request for Proposal (RFP).
The buses are required to transport military personnel to and
from various DND locations throughout Southern Ontario,
including but not limited to the Areas of Service (Pick-up
Rights) detailed at Annex C. Occasional trips to Quebec and
the United States may be required.
There are 63 Areas of Service detailed at Annex C. Offerors may
bid on one or more Areas of Service for which they have Pick-up
Rights.
Offerors may bid on one or more bus type i.e. Highway
Cruisers/Activity Bus and/or School Buses.
It is therefore anticipated that multiple Standing Offers may be
awarded.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is limited to Canadian services.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
