Nature of Requirements:
BULK LIQUID NITROGEN & TANK (RENTAL)
The requirement includes:
1. The rental and installation of a storage tank (800 gallons)
belonging to the contractor, for the storage of the liquid
nitrogen required to supply the Food Research and Development
Centre, located at 3600 Casavant Boulevard West,
Saint-Hyacinthe, QC. The Contractor will provide and install
fittings, adapters and accessories required for the storage tank
to be fully operational and be connected to the distribution
system of the building, at no additional cost to Canada. It will
be the technical and financial responsibility of the contractor
to remove and dispose the storage tank when the contract expires
or is terminated.
2. The supply and delivery of bulk liquid nitrogen (Standard
grade) at the Food Research and Development Centre, located at
3600 Boulevard Casavant West, Saint-Hyacinthe, QC. The
Contractor will have a system in place to remotely monitor the
storage conditions and to ensure there are no interruption in
the supply of the liquid nitrogen at the Food Research and
Development Centre.
The resulting contract will cover a period of five (5) years.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
