Nature of Requirements:
1. Supply of Liquid Nitrogen in accordance with Compressed Gas
Association (CGS) Standard G-10-1 (99.998% minimum pure
nitrogen) to be stored in contractor-owned, installed and
maintained storage tanks, located adjacent to the Canadian Space
Agency, David Florida Laboratory at Shirley's Bay, Ottawa,
Ontario. Estimated consumption for the seven month period:
1,223,810 cubic meters.
2. Rental of bulk high/low pressure storage tanks for liquid
nitrogen.
3. A familiarization and training course at the David Florida
Laboratory.
4. Any resulting contract will be for a period of seven months
commencing September 1, 2015 until March 31, 2016, with five
optional one-year supply periods. Liquid Nitrogen to be
delivered as and when ordered. Maximum daily consumption during
peak consumption periods can be 42,000 cubic meters.
Delivery Date: 01/09/2015
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
