B.1 - Analyste des activités - Niveau 2

• One (1) Level 2 – Business Analyst to start right away
• NRCan reserves the right to add additional resources under Levels 1, 2, and 3, as needed (determined at TA stage)

Description of Work:

The Business Analyst will be required to conduct the following tasks and deliverables.

• Elicit required information by using interviews, document analysis, review of existing systems or applications, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
• Evaluate and analyze information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Identify potential sources of data and develop data models to support general analysis;
• Prepare technical business requirements documents while using industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis and business rule definition. Some documents include: Business and/or Functional Requirements, Options Analysis, UAT, As-Is processes, To-Be processes, Business Case, ERD and Traceability Matrix,
• The BA will utilize communication tools such SharePoint, issue tracking tools and traceability matrix.
• Expected level of effort is 37.5 hours/week.
