This amendment is raised to extend the bid closing date, to
modify the Purchase Description (PD) in the Request for Proposal
(RFP) and provide questions and answers to potential bidders as
follows:

3. Question: In regards to the initial parts kit, should this
kit include brushes, brooms and squeegees or only filters and
filter accessories.
Answer: Yes - brushes, brooms and squeegees should be included
in the initial parts kit.
A Revised Purchase Description is attached reflecting changes in
the size of debris hopper.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.

AMENDMENT 001
This amendment is raised to provide questions and answers to
potential bidders as follows:
Question: We are currently preparing our bid for the Self
propelled scrubber and I had some questions regarding some
aspects of tender:
On page 11; point 4.1.1 (c)
It is indicated that the vehicle must be delivered with an
initial parts kit. Is this parts kit a spare kit in addition to
the parts already installed on the machine?
Answer: Yes - this parts kit is in addition to the parts already
installed on the machine which include items such as filters and
filter elements.
Question: On page 11; point 4.1.2
Are the data summary, photographs and preventive maintenance
replacement parts kit list to be included with the bid by
everyone bidding or is this only required from the successful
bidder once the contract is awarded?
Answer: Data summary, photographs and preventive maintenance
replacement parts list are not required to be included in the
bid. Only successful bidder needs to provide them to the
Technical Authority (TA).
All other terms and conditions remain the same.

The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase
one (1) electric motor powered, industrial rider type
self-propelled scrubber and ancillary items, including
familiarization instruction/training, in accordance with the
Purchase Description for Scrubber, self propelled, electric
heavy duty industrial type with solution recycling system, dated
2013-03-25, and as described at Annex A - Pricing.
The requirement includes an option to purchase up to four (4)
electric motor powered, industrial rider type self-propelled
scrubbers and ancillary items to be exercised within twelve (12)
months from the effective date of the contract.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Columbia Free Trade
Agreement, the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, the
Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement on Internal
Trade.
Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
