NATURE OF REQUIREMENT
The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for one (1)
Conservation and Protection Patrol Vessel for operations in
Gaspé, Québec.
The primary mission for the Conservation and Protection boat
shall be to allow fisheries officers Normal Conservation and
Protection operations including the crab and lobster pot hauling
for investigation and retrieval.
The secondary mission for the Conservation and Protection boat
shall be other fisheries enforcement duties such as Search and
Rescue (SAR) duties day or night, which are within the
reasonable capabilities of this type and size of patrol boat.
Delivery is requested on or before March 15, 2013 to
destination: The Canadian Coast Guard, 120 rue de la Reine
Gaspé Québec G4X 2R2.
In addition to the Vessels, the Contractor will be required to
produce a General Arrangement, Lines Plan, Associated Lists and
Reference Documents.

This procurement is covered by the Agreement on Internal (AIT)
and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
This procurement is exempt from the provisions of the World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP)
in accordance with WTO, Annex 4, Note 4.
Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement does not apply as delivery
is not within a Land Claim Area.
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement is that all
interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Bidders to be considered compliant must meet all the Mandatory
Requirements of the Request for Proposal.
The lowest priced compliant proposal will be recommended for
award.
