STORAGE BATTERIES

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to
establish a National Individual Standing Offer (NISO) for the
supply of Light Support Vehicular Wheeled (LSVW) storage
batteries. The NISO will be for a period of one (1) year from
the issuance of the Standing Offer. This NISO contains options
to extend the Standing Offer by two (2) additional periods of
one (1) year each.

The following estimated usage forecast for the next three (3)
years is provided to assist Offerors in the preparation of their
offers.

All three (3) years (Firm period and optional periods):

1200/year - Delivery to Montreal, Quebec
600/year - Delivery to Edmonton, Alberta

This requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT) and the Bilateral Agreements.
