Description:
The Clean Energy Innovation (CEI) Research Center of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has a requirement for the supply of two benchtop multiple reactor systems. The first system requires integrated sampling automation that can be coupled to a self-driving acceleration platform. The system will be utilized for high-throughput characterization of hydrometallurgical processes that contain multi-component mixtures in real-time as a part of the Critical Battery Materials Initiative (CBMI). The systems must be equipped to collect aliquots of reaction accurately during hydrometallurgical testing. The second system will be utilized for high-throughput characterization of crystallization processes from multi-component mixtures in real-time. This particular system must be equipped with multiple reactors to monitor turbidity, solubility, nucleation time and crystallization reactions accurately during hydrometallurgical testing. Beyond the already planned projects involving this equipment, the applications of this equipment are broad and can be incorporated into many NRC-Mississauga (NRC-M) projects.

The units are expected to be received within 8 weeks of contract award.
