However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA. To ensure efficient operation of the procurement system, the Contracting Authority will invite no more than the first 15 SA Holders that request an invitation. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date.
Description of the Requirement:
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) requires the professional services of one (1) Senior Business Process Consultant with significant knowledge, expertise and experience in Canadian government procurement by departments and agencies subject to the Government Contracts Regulations, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat Contracting Policies and directives, trade agreements and other applicable legislation, policies, directives and guidelines.
Tasks to be Performed
The Contractors tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to:
a) Review and provide expert advice on CNSC’s established procurement and contracting processes, checklists, policies, directives etc. and provide recommendations and develop new ones.
b) Perform internal procurement and contracting services and service standards benchmarking against similar sized government departments/agencies upon request by the Project Authority.
c) Provide advice, recommendations and guidance on Central Agency and other related legislation, policies, directives and guidelines relating to procurement and contracting that would have an impact on the CNSC.
d) Develop framework, guidance process etc. documents related to contracting and procurement as requested by the Project Authority.
Incumbent:
The work has not been performed by a contracted resource in the last 12 months.

Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award + 85 days.
Estimated Level of Effort:
The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 85 days + 1 option period of 80 days.
