High Density Mobile Shelving
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Ottawa, Ontario has a requirement for the supply and installation of High Density Mobile Shelving.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
All the deliverables must be received on or before December 16, 2016.
Mandatory Technical Criteria
1. Mechanical/manual carriage mechanism
2. Aisle safety lock
3. Non-grouted metal track on stable substrate (plywood)
4. Heavy-duty steel construction
5. Adjustable height fixed shelves and horizontal dividers for legal size documents
6. Dimensions of the units are to match the room size and be no taller than 6’-0? (1828mm) in height to clear ceiling and sprinklers within the space
7. Units are to be sized as per plans (approximate unit size is 13’-9? long x 7’-0? wide (two fixed units at each end of main units)
8. Room ceiling height is: 2400mm or 8’-0? +/- clear as designed
9. Room floor loading design data: 250.6 psf as designed
