The Department of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) works with First Nations through the Capital Facilities and Maintenance Program to provide financial and advisory assistance for the construction, renovation, repair and maintenance of First Nations Schools and other education-related assets. Improving education related infrastructure in First Nations’ communities is a strategic priority for ISC. To meets these responsibilities ISC has a need to identify the current and future capital requirements for education infrastructure related assets at a National level.
