SAFETY BOOTS
Requirement :
The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement for
safety boots.
Technical Requirements :
The items must be manufactured in accordance with Annex C,
Purchase Description CAG-2-1407-356D, Safety Boot, Male,
Correctional Service Canada provided with the Request for
Proposal and the sealed sample.
The items must be labeled and tested in accordance with Annex B,
CSA Labeling and Test Results/Laboratory Testing.
Sealed Sample :
The Sealed Sample may be viewed at the following Department of
Public Works and Government Services Regional Offices: Quebec
(Quebec); Montreal (Quebec); Mississauga (Ontario); Winnipeg
(Manitoba); Edmonton (Alberta), Vancouver (British Columbia).
Firm Quantity :
Item 001 - Safety Boots: 2,200 pairs
Estimated Quantity: "As and When Requested" :
Item 002 - Safety Boots: 1,100 pairs
Delivery to the Correctional Service of Canada in Laval, Quebec :
Item 001 - Delivery of the firm quantity are requested complete
by April 30, 2015.
Item 002 - "As and when requested" may be ordered on an "as and
when requested" basis for a period of 24 months
from Contract award date.
This requirement also includes one (1) option to purchase
additional quantity :
Only one amendment may be issued to exercise each option.
Option 1 - Item 003 : estimated qty 2,200 pairs to be exercised
within 24 months after contract award date

Enquiries :
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
