A) Obtain professional government relations consulting services, including situational intelligence, to support advocacy issues and issues management.
B) Work with the College’s government relations team to develop and activate a strategy that helps raise the College’s profile and meet its strategic objectives, including major capital expansion and increased funding, through engagement and follow-up with local, provincial, and federal decision-makers.
C) Work with the College’s team to develop and advance a strategy to support the College’s growth, profile, and engagement with the federal government.
D) Identify municipal government, community relations, and public relations opportunities that advance the College’s strategic interests. E) Provide advice and feedback on tactical plans, messaging, and appropriate materials to position the College and advance strategic aims with the government.
F) Provide advice on relationship building and fostering trust with government officials and political aides to achieve productive and mutually beneficial outcomes.
G) Monitor the political and partisan environment, legislative agenda, policy changes, and changes in staffing and appointments as they relate to the College’s scope of interests.
