Nature of Requirements:
The Product Safety Labratory (PSL) of Health Canada has a
requirement for the supply, training and support of a portable
co-ordinate measurement machine (CMM) with a contact point laser
scanner unit with supporting software and hardware. The CMM will
enable PSL staff to perform annual and monthly verifications of
complex geometries on PSL test equipment. The CMM will also be
used to measure key Consumer product dimensions as they relate
to the Consumer Product Safety Act and associated regulations.
In accordance with the mandatory specifications detailed at
Annex "A" of this solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
