The National Research Council's (NRC) Aluminum Technology Centre
(ATC), Saguenay site, is seeking to acquire a high-speed camera
to observe the molten pool during the welding (e.g. laser beam
welding or arc welding) of metals, and mainly when welding
aluminium. This camera must be capable of observing the molten
pool at a rate of 10,000 images per second.
The scope of the work includes the supply and delivery of the
camera to the NRC Saguenay site.
