SWIR SENSOR CAMERAS
1. BACKGROUND
Defence Research and Development Canada - Valcartier (DRDC) has
a requirement for three (3) SWIR sensor cameras. DRDC requires
cameras wich have the highest sensitivity ans the lowest noise
in order to carry out R&D studies at the lowest light level
possible.
2. REQUIREMENT
Provide and deliver to Defence Research and Development Canada -
Valcartier the following items:
The contractor must provide and deliver a quantity of three (3)
SWIR sensor cameras with lens as described in Section 3.1.
The Contractor must ensure that the cameras are delivered with
all components correctly adjusted, calibrated, and serviced such
that the equipment is ready for operational use.
The contractor must also provide and deliver
one (1) Operation and Technical Manual per camera unit with the
delivery in hard copy. The publications must be delivered in
English as existing commercial or foreign government
off-the-shelf manuals;
control software for the camera delivered on a compact disc (CD)
ou Digital Versatile Disc (DVD);
all electronic copies in the Technical Data Package must be in
Adobe PDF format delivered on a compact disc (CD) ou Digital
Versatile Disc (DVD).
3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Pixel size: 25 microns x 25 microns maximum
ROIC: CMOS technology with high dynamic logarithmic response
NEI: Less than 3.5+09 ph/s/cm2 at 30Hz and at 1.5 um wavelength
Noise: 50 electrons maximum at 30Hz and at 1.5 um wavelength
A/D resolution: 12 bit minimum at 30 frames per second at full
frame
