The Department of National Defence 17 Wing has a requirement for
the supply and installation of fully operational Closed-circuit
Television (CCTV) system upgrades. This includes seven (7)
Stationary/Fixed cameras, five (5) Pan Tilt Zoom cameras, one
(1) 360° Hemispherical Stationary/Fixed camera, four (4) Hybrid
Video Recorders and all required parts, components, systems,
terminations, software, accessories and training, with the
option to purchase additional cameras, at various locations at
17 Wing, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
All the deliverables, installation and training must be received
on or before 31 March 2015.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
and/or services.
Mandatory Site Visit: It is mandatory that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements
have been made for the site visit to be held at 17 Wing CFB
Winnipeg, 715 Whytewold Road, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3Y5 on 13
February 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 CST, in Bldg
25 (1 Canadian Air Division) Room 1-15.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than 15:00 CST on 9 February 2015 to confirm attendance and
provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders
will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should
confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit.
Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

procurement.
