Nature of Requirements:
Amendment to the solicitation is raised to provide Questions (Q)
and Answers (A) received from the Industry, to DELETE in its
entirety Annex "B" replace it with the one dated December 18,
2012 and to change the Bid Solicitation closing date.

The Department of Public Works and Government Services, on
behalf of the Department of National Defence, has a requirement
for the supply and delivery of one (1) Class 8 truck, 4x2
configuration, equipped with a 6.1 metres (20 foot) flat deck
and a crane system mounted behind the cab in accordance with the
requirement description/specifications detailed in Annex "B".

The requirement includes an option to purchase up to two (2)
heavy trucks and related items to be exercised within twelve
(12) months from the effective date of the contract

Delivery date required before February 28, 2013.

The truck is to be delivered to Canadian Forces Bases Halifax,
NS.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
