This project requires the replacement of the North East Sally
Port Fence for CSC (Correctional Service Canada).
Work of this requirement comprises the replacement of a portion
of an existing 4.3 m security fence surrounding the Sally Port
at the north east main gate. The work includes a chain link
fence, footings and new fence detection system to match existing
system. The existing fence and fence detection system to be
maintained until new fence is installed and operational.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT:
A Mandatory site visit will be held on 06 March 2012 at 10:00
A.M. at the site. Interested bidders are to meet at the site,
North East Sally Port Gate, Warkworth Institution, 15847 County
Road 29, Campbellford, On K0L 1L0.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit attendance sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer,
Bob Hassell at 416-590-8270 to confirm attendance and provide
the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, 24 hours prior to
the site visit.
The duration of work is schedule to be completed sixteen (16)
weeks from date of award.

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
