Requirement:
To carry out the emergency drydocking, maintenance and
alterations of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS
Caribou Isle" in accordance with the provided Specification No.
735.12 Rev 1,
dated May 2, 2012.
Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation
purposes.
East of Les Méchins in Quebec, the vessel will have to be towed
at the Contractor's cost.
Insurance Requirement:
A minimum Ship Repairers' Liability Insurance coverage of $10M
per occurrence, will be a requirement of the resulting contract.
Destination:
The work shall be carried out at Contractors facility.

Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy
(1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex
1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
